    The role you'll contribute:

    The Cardiology Administration Supervisor plans, develops, coordinates, and organizes the daily responsibilities of the Cardiovascular Service Line Coordinators and Navigators. Responsible for ensuring that all necessary resources are in place to facilitate effective client support and treatments toward providing quality patient care. This means daily interaction with patients, physicians, and nursing staff. Demonstrates leadership in a positive manner, motivates and educates staff, communicates effectively with staff, administration, and physicians. Promotes patient and employee satisfaction. The Supervisor is responsible for all program management, including staff and community education if applicable, patient rounds, outcomes monitoring, preparation of statistical reports, data abstraction and maintenance of all required documentation, and compliance with national standards, certifications, and accreditations. Demonstrates flexibility and is compliant with special requests as situations dictate.

    • Collaborates with organizational leadership and front-line team members to ensure program initiatives and accreditations are understood and policies and processes are followed based on evidence-based guidelines.

    • Oversees coordination of the program(s) to ensure quality clinical outcomes achieving shorter length of stay, low morbidity and mortality rates as well as patient satisfaction and post-discharge calls as applicable.

    • Coordinates and provides physician, staff, patient, and community education as applicable; evaluates the effectiveness of these programs frequently.

    • Consistently uses current evidence-based guidelines, standing orders, and protocols to facilitate positive patient outcomes.

    • Collaborates with other in-house departments and community resources to provide continuity of care, as indicated.

    Qualifications

    The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed :

    • Bachelor's degree required

    • Minimum of three (3) years clinical experience in area of specialty

    • Current Florida RN License

    • AHA BLS- certified
