Structural Design Engineer

A multi-disciplinary engineering firm looking to add a structural engineer to their team. They specialize in civil engineering ,structural engineering and have an in-house architecture team.

Their projects typically include K-12 institutional work, and commercial work.

The ideal Candidate has a strong design background , with experience in K-12 projects, public works, and commercial

Experience in the following is required

• Project manage and communicate with clients to update status

• Review designs

• Structural Calculations

• lead project development, and mentor staff

• Review construction documents to make sure they are in compliance with Building codes including

• international Building Code (IBC), Oregon Structural Specialty Code (OSSC), ASCE 41, AISC Manual of Steel Construction, ACI-318, and National Design Specification for Wood Construction (NDS).

Work Environment

In-office, Mon-Fri 8-5 pm. Can work from home up to 2 days a week after completing the training period
