    Job Summary:

    Leads development and execution of the mid to long-term business development for Cat Digital's Connectivity growth strategy.

    What You Will Do:

    • Develop/refresh Caterpillar connectivity growth strategy and communicating to key stakeholders via regular cadence

    • Develop and lead key strategic initiatives for department in collaboration with internal/external business partners

    • Lead connectivity market intelligence and benchmarking

    • Lead and support Executive Stakeholder communications

    • Lead complex cross functional / department / BU projects

    • Leads cross-functional collaboration with business partners across the organization and outside consultants to gain industry trends and collect voice of the customer and voice of the business to propose ideas for business growth.

    • Manages metrics, dashboards and supporting management tools in place to monitor performance and develop processes to increase the sale

    • Planning and directing all projects viewed as critical to department and the enterprise

    • Gather information and assess the market including competitive issues, market dynamics, market service needs and the company position in the industry by securing a leadership role within the trade associations, technical bodies and schools particular to this sector.

    • Analyzes and interprets data when creating business plans

    • Differentiates assumptions, perspectives, and historical frameworks.

    • Evaluates past decisions for insights to improve decision-making process.

    Effective Communications:

    • Adapts documents and presentations for the intended audience.

    Relationship Management:

    • Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.

    Strategic Thinking:

    • Makes sound business decisions on behalf of the group when faced with complex and contradictory alternatives.

    • Recommends ways to position the organization for long-term competitiveness.

    Additional Details:

    This position must be based out of our Peoria, IL office with a flexible hybrid work environment.

    Summary Pay Range:

    $142,080.00 - $213,000.00

    Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
