    Strategic Technical Advisor

    Location: United States

    Travel: 25% No visa sponsorship is available for this position.

    Join our dynamic global account team as a Strategic Technical Advisor (STA) , where you will be the go-to technical expert, driving impactful solutions that align with our customers' goals and objectives!

    As an STA, you will play a pivotal role in delivering presales technical and functional support to prospective clients, ensuring their satisfaction while working with minimal supervision. You'll also mentor less experienced Sales Consultants, sharing your expertise and insights to elevate the entire team.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Inspire and Educate : Develop and deliver engaging Oracle presentations and demonstrations that highlight advanced product features, benefits, and future directions. Your ability to articulate the value of our solutions will help shape customer success.

    • Design Innovative Solutions : Create, validate, and present cutting-edge Oracle software solutions, including advanced concepts and complementary third-party products. Your creativity will empower clients to see the full potential of our offerings.

    • Build Lasting Relationships : Foster high-quality, professional relationships with clients and develop reference sites that showcase the power of our solutions. Your interpersonal skills will be key in building trust and rapport.

    • Manage Customer Ecosystems : Plan and document our customer ecosystems, including architecture schematics, business processes, and integration opportunities. Your strategic vision will guide clients in optimizing their operations.

    • Engage and Collaborate : Participate in quarterly business reviews, sharing outcomes with regional sales leads and contributing to strategic discussions. Your insights will shape the future direction of our collaborations.

    • Educate and Inform : Provide impactful presentations to corporate customers, covering new features and solutions that enhance their operations. Host webinars and education series that keep clients informed and engaged.

    • Liaison and Support : Act as the main point of contact between our customers and third-party strategic partners. Provide oversight on technical inquiries and collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless communication.

    • Drive Product Strategy : Manage and track global technology enhancement discussions, serving as a bridge between our customers and internal teams. Your contributions will directly influence our product strategy and development.

    Desired Skills

    • In-depth functional knowledge of Simphony and R&A

    • Ability to deliver persuasive presentations to present technical solutions to prospects and existing customers

    • Experience in a Software Implementation / Pre-Sales / Solution Engineering environment

    • Successful history configuring complex Simphony environments and troubleshooting technical challenges

    • Excellent communication skills for a wide variety of audiences, up to and including C-level executives

    • The ability to produce high-quality documentation of a technical nature

    • A passion for technology architecture and delivery

    • Wide knowledge of the food and beverage market and trends

    Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

    US: Hiring Range: from $30.29 to $76.49 per hour; from $63,000 to $159,100 per annum. May be eligible for equity. Eligible for commission with an estimated pay mix of 65/35 - 80/20.

    Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.

    Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

    8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
