  • We are seeking an experienced and visionary Director of Strategic Alliances Strategy to join our dynamic team. The Director will be responsible for defining and driving our strategic alliances agenda, shaping a 3-year roadmap for silicon, OS, and AI strategies, and creating momentum to achieve HP strategic outcomes. This role requires a deep understanding of the technology landscape, strong leadership skills, and the ability to influence and collaborate with executives within HP and within partner organizations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Strategic Agenda Development and Execution:

    • Define and drive the overall strategic agenda for Strategic Alliances to align with the company's long-term goals and objectives.

    • Develop and implement a comprehensive 3-year strategy for silicon, operating systems (OS), and AI agents to enhance competitive positioning and innovation.

    Strategic Partnerships and Alliances:

    • Identify, evaluate, and establish strategic alliances with key technology partners to advance company objectives and drive growth.

    • Foster strong relationships with alliance partners, ensuring alignment on strategic goals and mutual benefits.

    Momentum Creation and Strategic Outcomes:

    • Create momentum for achieving strategic outcomes by developing and executing initiatives that drive partner engagement and collaboration.

    • Monitor and measure the success of strategic initiatives, adjusting strategies as needed to achieve desired outcomes.

    Profitability and Partner Funding:

    • Define and identify opportunities to grow profitability by maximizing alliance partner funding.

    • Influence partner organizations, including product, category/sales, marketing, supply chain, etc., to secure resources and support for strategic initiatives.

    Cross-functional Collaboration:

    • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of strategic alliance initiatives with broader company goals.

    • Facilitate communication and collaboration between internal and external stakeholders to drive successful outcomes.

    Market Analysis and Competitive Intelligence:

    • Conduct market analysis and competitive intelligence to stay informed of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor strategies.

    • Use insights to inform strategic decision-making and identify new opportunities for strategic alliances.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

    • Minimum of 10 years of experience in strategy, strategic alliances, business development, or a related field within the technology industry.

    • Proven track record of defining and driving strategic agendas, particularly in the areas of silicon, OS, and AI.

    • Strong leadership and project management skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with senior executives and cross-functional teams.

    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

    • Ability to think strategically and analytically, with a strong focus on execution and results.

    • In-depth knowledge of the technology industry, market trends, and competitive landscape.

    The base pay range for this role is $159,650 - $255,450 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to US candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
