As a Sterile Processing Technician, you play a role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our patients. You are responsible for meticulously cleaning, decontaminating, assembling, sterilizing, and storing all reusable surgical instruments. Furthermore, you are instrumental in providing all necessary instruments for surgery and other hospital departments. Your dedication and attention to detail are vital in delivering the highest standard of care. Thank you for your invaluable contribution to our team.

• What You Will Do In This Role:

  · You will perform delegated functions in compliance with hospital and departmental policies and procedures.

  · You will perform procedures related to decontamination, assembly and sterilization of surgical instrumentation for Surgical Services and Nursing units.

  · You will review sterilization records and prepare reports as assigned.

  · You will demonstrate teamwork, adaptability, and serve as a resource to the Surgical Services team.

  · You will have accountability for delivering quality services and for promoting a positive image of the department.

What Qualifications You Will Need:

· Certification in Sterile Processing is preferred.

· Previous experience in an Operating Room, Central Supply or other Material Management setting is preferred.
