    What You'll Do:

    As a Staff Recruiting and Retention Specialist, you help hire and retain the highly skilled, extremely compassionate, dedicated teams that improve the lives of our guests and their families. Your expertise and understanding of the unique staffing needs of long-term care facilities will be instrumental in recruiting, hiring, and retaining the talent that achieves our business objectives and mission.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • THIS IS NOT A REMOTE OPPORTUNITY. This position will work more than 50% of the time at the facility and 25% or more of the time in the community

    • Develop and implement recruiting strategies to attract and hire qualified candidates for all positions within our skilled nursing and long-term care facility

    • Create and implement staff retention initiatives, employee engagement activities, team recognition programs, and other initiatives that foster a positive work environment and reduce turnover

    • Build strong partnerships and collaborate with hiring partners to understand business objectives, develop tailored recruiting strategies, and coordinate the full cycle hiring process for the center(s)

    • Cultivate active and passive candidate pools through sourcing, community partnerships, social media, marketing, employee referrals, etc.

    • Represent the care center(s) at job fairs, in the community, campus events, and through various professional associations

    • Participate in the planning and execution of onboarding programs that set employees up for success and ensure a smooth transition into the organization

    • Advise, train and influence partners and stakeholders regarding recruitment strategy, process optimization, candidate experience and technologies including the applicant tracking system

    • Partner with HR Assistants to ensure the completion of applicant and new-hire documentation, screening and background requirements and other tasks through onboarding

    • Monitor and analyze hiring and retention data, providing insights and recommendations for improvement

    Starting from USD $70,000.00/Yr.

    What You'll Bring:

    Qualifications of a Talent Acquisition Specialist include

    • Bachelor's degree in human resources ( HR ) or related field preferred

    • 3+ yrs recruiting in healthcare, skilled nursing, or long-term care environment preferred; or 5+ yrs non-healthcare supporting multiple industries

    • Past success implementing employee engagement and retention initiatives in healthcare, skilled nursing, or long-term care environment preferred

    • Strong knowledge of recruitment and retention strategies, practices and tools including on-line and off-line sourcing activities

    • Past success building influential client relationships, partnering effectively, and collaborating seamlessly across multiple teams and stakeholders

    • Experience building and maintaining partnerships with professional, educational and community organizations

    • Excellent communication skills including the use of various modes and methods for outreach and engagement

    • Self-directed with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

    • Interest in the needs of the aged and the chronically ill with the ability to work with both

    • Embraces the value and importance of being present in the care center and community
