    As a Staff Product Manager for EDB's Greenplum support offering, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the products and services for enterprises to modernize their analytics workloads, from the warehouse to the lakehouse. You'll work closely with engineering, sales, customers and the community to revitalize a MPP Analytics platform Greenplum as an open, interoperable, enterprise-grade analytics solution.

    By driving the launch of this new offering, this Staff Product Manager will help to ensure our customers' success with Greenplum, a Postgres-based data warehousing solution. As part of this role, they will help develop a strategic roadmap for Greenplum customers to continue relying on their Data Warehouse investment, while also creating a path forward towards open source, open data formats and Lakehouse architecture.

    Your impact will be:

    • Working cross-functionally within EDB, across engineering, marketing, sales, and other functions to take ideas through the entire lifecycle, from ideation to production.

    • Working with customers to understand and incorporate their feedback into our product vision and roadmap while also being an effective evangelist for EDB and our offerings.

    • Collaborating with product and engineering peers to deliver your product's roadmap.

    • Making sure our engineering team is always fed with a prioritized backlog of features with clear acceptance criteria.

    • Supporting our Sales team. Collaborating with product marketing and enablement to ensure the field is prepared to capitalize on new opportunities.

    • Bringing an inquisitive, innovative & collegiate attitude to problem solving.

    What you'll bring:

    • Demonstrated success as a product manager for complex, data-intensive infrastructure software for enterprise analytics workloads with Warehouse/Lakehouse architectures.

    • Exceptional communication skills. Able to explain complex topics and provide audience-appropriate summarizations.

    • Curiosity and enthusiasm for emerging technologies in the data analytics ecosystem.

    • Solid understanding of database fundamentals (types, uses, and features of databases).

    What will give you an edge:

    • Technical background or experience as a practitioner of data engineering and analytics

    • Understanding of the Postgres ecosystem, Greenplum, and open source communities

    • Familiarity and experience with the Lakehouse ecosystem, open data/metadata formats like Apache Iceberg and Delta Lake, and the competitive landscape of this ecosystem

    • Thought leadership and passionate opinions about analytics technologies informed by hard-won experience architecting, deploying and scaling enterprise-grade data platforms

    Compensation Range (DOE/Location): $190-225k + annual variable bonus
