Staff Accountant

Description

We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Staff Accountant in Lake Oswego, Oregon. This role is primarily within the financial industry, where you will be expected to handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger tasks.

Responsibilities

• Effectively manage Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) tasks

• Execute regular bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy

• Maintain and update the general ledger on a regular basis

• Create and adjust journal entries as needed

• Carry out month-end close procedures efficiently

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for financial data management and reporting

• Operate Deltek software for various accounting functions.

Requirements - Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) processes and management

• Demonstrated experience with Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Ability to perform Bank Reconciliations accurately and efficiently

• Competence in managing and maintaining the General Ledger

• Experience in preparing and posting Journal Entries

• Capability to handle Month End Close processes effectively

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial data analysis and reporting

• Familiarity with Deltek software for project and financial management
