    Location: Owensboro, KY

    Schedule: Monday - Friday, Day Shift (40 hours per week)

    Summary of Duties

    As an SRNA/CNA Clinical Nurse, you will assist providers in the examination and treatment of patients, perform lab technician duties, and ensure an exceptional level of patient care. This position is ideal for a flexible and detail-oriented professional who thrives in a team-focused environment.

    Essential Responsibilities
    • Patient Care
      • Interview patients and record vital signs (e.g., pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height) in patient charts.
      • Prepare treatment rooms and assist providers during patient examinations and treatments.
      • Administer medications as directed and document administration in the EMR system.
    • Clinical Support
      • Clean and sterilize instruments, restock medical supplies, and inventory/order necessary materials.
      • Assist with lab specimen collection according to lab standards.
      • Apply compresses, ice bags, and hot water bottles as needed.
    • Documentation
      • Maintain accurate and complete medical histories, family and social histories, and medication records in the EMR system.
      • Verify patient demographics and other data for accuracy.
    • Quality Assurance
      • Coordinate with providers to ensure all organizational quality standards are consistently met.
      • Maintain Basic Life Support and CPR certification per Red Cross or American Heart Association guidelines.
    • Additional Duties
      • Ensure treatment areas are clean, organized, and welcoming.
      • Provide coverage at multiple clinics as needed based on the schedule.
      • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.

    Requirements

    EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or GED preferred, Nurse Aid, Medical Assistant or similar medical certification and minimum 1-3 years' experience working in a medical or clinical setting. Must have the ability to follow verbal and written directions and have good physical and mental health. Must have manual dexterity to handle instructions, current knowledge of departmental procedures and be able to maintain a friendly work environment. Bi-lingual (Spanish and English) preferred. Must have a valid drivers license and be willing to submit a background check and oral drug screen.
