Sr UX Engineer

Description

• Develop user-friendly interface designs in accordance with established UI design standards and principles.

• Engage in customer interviews and other user research methods to understand users' needs and preferences.

• Create and develop UI prototypes for testing or marketing purposes.

• Participate in usability research, including creating test plans and scripts, moderating usability test sessions, and drafting final reports.

• Record user experience designs in an official record system.

• Contribute to cross-functional teams by providing user experience expertise and design recommendations for product and process enhancements.

• Independently carry out smaller approved projects with minimal supervision.

• Apply team engineering methodologies and tools to manage tasks and communicate across varied teams and specialties.

Requirements

Required Skills and Abilities

• Comprehensive understanding of user experience design principles.

• Proficient in using UI design and prototyping tools, especially advanced Figma skills including development and usage of components, variables, and modes.

• Genuine passion for improving user experiences and a willingness to advocate for the user and UX best practices.

• The capability to explain and document UI designs and decisions, both verbally and in written form.

• Collaborative capabilities for working with team members on design projects.

• The ability to work independently whilst collaborating and communicating with the software development project team.
