    WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

    • Performing routine, non-routine, and complex task assignments to support SR&D strategic initiatives.

    • Assisting with work streams associated with regulatory requests or development and implementation of improved product platforms.

    • Contributing to work streams associated with the identification, development, and implementation of new technologies and processes/methods that reduces product cost.

    • Operating/using various types of equipment, machines, and instruments to achieve desired outcomes per product platform.

    • Assisting in maintaining material inventories, equipment spare parts, and trials associated material supplies.

    • Operating cigarette manufacturing equipment and leading/assisting scheduled maintenance.

    • Performing and maintaining calibration verification checks on equipment/instruments to be used within the processes.

    • Maintaining integrity and cleanliness of equipment, instruments, and work environment for efficiency of work.

    • Understanding and increasing knowledge on products specifications computer systems supporting trial requests.

    • Receiving and shipping of materials.

    • Maintaining knowledge of MES and PDM systems.

    ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

    • Self-motivated individual with the ability to work in a team environment.

    • Capacity to occasionally lift/position materials weighing up to 50 lbs.

    • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage projects at the appropriate level of detail.

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills capable of making decisions and adjusting to meet objectives.

    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

    • Strong troubleshooting abilities.

    • Ability to perform assigned tasks with minimal supervision.

    • Strong technical and mechanical aptitude.

    • High School Diploma, or equivalent, with at least two years of relevant experience or any furthering education certification with one year of relevant experience.

    • Ability to operate industrial forklift equipment, powered lifts, and use ladders.

    BENEFICIAL

    • Experience operating a cigarette maker, KDF filter maker, and/or cigarette packaging equipment.

    • Experience using MES and Ignition software.

    • Experience working in an FDA regulated environment.
