    Insight Global is looking for a Sr. Systems Engineer to join a top automation client on a 12 month contract. This is a client facing role where you act as the SME and the face of the nuclear division, while running with an entire project. You will be understanding the customer's technology and process and becoming the subject matter expert in the equipment/system, providing project technical clarity by defining system requirements and validating system capability, and being the technical leader on the system from cradle to launch, guiding the design team in ensuring project technical requirements are met. You will support technical execution of the project, contribute to risk mitigation, and drive improvements in quality, cost, and delivery.

    Skills and Requirements

    • 7-10+ years of experience in engineering design, development and qualification of custom machinery, systems or equipment

    • 5+ years of experience in nuclear tooling and equipment development and testing, preferably including field support and experience

    • Thorough understanding of machine design and build, machine controls, structured problem solving, statistical analysis, and precision engineering principles

    • Experience with CSA N299/B51/N285/NQA quality requirements

    Strong communication skills and experience working with high level clients/stakeholder - P.Eng strongly preferred null
