    This role is part of our Youth & Recreational Sports group, comprised of technology platforms such as SportsEngine (~~~) HQ, SportsEngine Motion (~~~) , SportsEngine Play (~~~) and SportsEngine Tourney. (~~~) We enable athletes, parents, coaches and team administrators in the youth and recreational space to manage their organizations, collect payments, share schedules, find programs to participate in and connect with other families. Additionally, NCSI (~~~) enables leagues and organizations to properly screen and train coaches in an effort to keep kids safe.

    The Sr. Sales Analyst role supports the Youth & Rec Sports (YRS) GoToMarket teams' efforts within NBC Sports Next. The Senior Sales Analyst will use advanced analytical techniques to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive business decisions, optimize sales strategies, and improve revenue generation. These insights will drive our understanding of sales effectiveness and how it impacts customer acquisition, retention, and lifetime customer value.

    This position leads the development and maintenance of data models, dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to effectively communicate findings and drive data-driven decision-making within NBC Sports Next. In addition, the Sr. Sales Analyst drives continuous improvements to streamline data collection, analysis, and reporting processes, increasing efficiency and scalability of analytical operations.

    The Sr. Sales Analyst will report to the Senior Director, Sales Strategy and Operations, and will collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Salesforce Administration, Marketing, Revenue Operations, and Product teams to deliver actionable insights and initiatives that contribute to meeting company goals. A successful Sr. Sales Analyst will quickly build a deep understanding of the business and be able to effectively communicate results and present recommendations to the Sales leadership team.

    Basic Requirements

    • 2+ years in data analytics, data visualization, or data aggregation with a preference for candidates with experience specific to the SAAS companies.

    • Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions. Optimize existing SQL queries for performance and scalability.

    • Strong proficiency in Excel including VLOOKUPs, PivotTables, and advanced analytical functionality.

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with a concentration in Business Admin, Analytics, Statistics, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Finance, or other related fields

    • The ideal candidate will be a results-driven, strategic thinker able to thrive in a dynamic, rapid-growth environment.

    • Exceptional candidate will have best-in-class data skills including SQL, Excel, dataset manipulation, and data visualization.

    • Experience supporting Sales functions, either directly or indirectly
