Job Description
Our client is looking for a Senior Regulatory Specialist to join their team. This resource will be responsible for identifying, collecting and interpreting science-based reports, data and regulations in order to prepare documents for government agencies, curate lists and/or develop Environment, Health, Safety, and Transportation (EHS&T) information for the control and use of chemicals in the market place. The Senior Regulatory Specialist provides subject matter expertise to clients when requested which involves local, regional, national or international knowledge of industrial or consumer sectors. The Senior Regulatory Specialist utilizes relevant software and can contribute to troubleshooting and enhancement of these software products. Mentors and trains Regulatory Specialists. Interfaces with all levels of management to provide consultation on regulatory requirements.
Identify, collect, and interpret scientific reports, data, and regulations.
Prepare documents for government agencies and develop EHS&T information for chemical control.
Provide subject matter expertise on local, regional, national, or international regulations.
Use and troubleshoot relevant software, contributing to its enhancement.
Mentor and train Regulatory Specialists.
Consult with all levels of management on regulatory requirements.
Monitor and understand the regulatory landscape to identify necessary actions.
Collaborate with or lead teams to improve and test software, providing feedback.
Support Marketing and Sales teams with regulatory knowledge.
Present regulatory expertise via webinars and conferences.
Create regulatory and functional specifications for SAP EHS/Product Compliance.
Develop test cases to ensure product compliance with regulations.
Contribute to acceptance criteria and tests.
Participate in meetings and team prioritization.
Perform administrative duties, including raising queries and reporting issues.

Skills and Requirements
5-10 years of relevant EHS&T
Minimal business travel
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel).
Knowledge of chemical hazard communication regulations (e.g., GHS) and dangerous goods transportation rules.
Creating Safety Data Sheets, especially using SAP EHS/Product Compliance
Familiarity with regulatory content packages for Safety Data Sheets creation Chemical SDS authoring or supply chain network software
Bachelors degree in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Sciences, Toxicology, or related field.
Preferred: Masters degree in a science-related field and 3-5 years of relevant EHS&T experience. null
