    The Opportunity

    Procter & Gamble is seeking a Senior Products Researcher - Home Care Consumer Insights to join our Global Swiffer Duster team. Consumer Insight generation has a critical role in Swiffer initiative structure. Generating key consumer insights and finding the best way to bring these alive for key stakeholders is essential for success in this position. You will have the opportunity to learn how to lead a product pillar from front end innovation design through franchise product research including product qualification, consumer test design, setting success criteria for product design, competitive benchmarking, consumer understanding, complaints, claims, and demos. You will additionally develop knowledge and capabilities in substrate/device techniques and evaluation.

    Position Responsibilities

    • Lead the pillar and development work, giving directions to product design, setting consumer success criteria and design consumer qualifications of these plans.

    • Work proactively to demonstrate product superiority for the dusting job in this pillar, generating consumer insights, help develop concepts and communication ideas and make CI possible in collaboration with commercial team.

    • Serve as the expert on dusting consumer habits, needs, wants and experience by developing expertise in sensorial assessment of benefits via sensory panels and consumer tests, constantly developing and improving screening/qualification methods.

    • Responsible for conducting consumer interviews - placement analysis, and qualitative/quantitative interviewing, including in home interviewing.

    • Demonstrate in market consumer, customer and product knowledge, regional benchmarking, competitive intelligence & leveraging it to strengthen our superiority communication / claims / demos.

    • Enable initiatives with go to market delivery steps, artwork input, proof of claim support, demo development, and sensory panels.

    • Partner with external agencies/parties for consumer test placement and also generating external endorsements for claims.

    • Collaborate with R&D regionally and globally and cross-functional teams within Brand, CMK, Legal, GPS.

    • Has the ability to multitask and prioritize, work on multiple projects and manages time and teams effectively.

    • Can produce and present technical information to both technical and non-technical personnel.

    Job Qualifications

    Required

    • Bachelor's in Engineering or other relevant field

    • 5+ years prior experience driving large, multi-functional business initiatives within a corporate environment.

    • Experience with organizing and drawing insights from quantitative and qualitative data, including the ability to apply basic statistics

    • Demonstrated ability to exercise independent judgment in planning, organizing, and conducting product research and analysis.

    • Strong communication & connectivity skills, with the ability to bring cross-functional teams together to move projects forward

    • Proficiency within core MS Office Suite

    • Ability to work onsite 5 days per week in Cincinnati, OH based office.

    Preferred

    • Previous experience in some aspect of consumer insights and/or behavioral analysis

    • Prior experience in JMP

    Pay Range: $105,000 - $150,000

    Compensation for roles at P&G varies depending on a wide array of non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, degree/credentials, relevant skill set, and level of relevant experience.
