    Position Summary:

    This role will be supporting the Product Lifecycle Manager for respective BU for initiatives driving portfolio along the Lifecycle. Working closely with the Product Lifecycle Manager for the BU and supporting the end-to-end supply chain to the BU. Key support function for the BUs and PLCM.

    Purpose (scope of the role)

    • Support the Lead facilitator for EBP Step 1 for specific BU for North America

    • Run analysis on various data sets and report outcomes to manager to drive decisions based in data. The data will be needed from cradle to grave of a product lifecycle and link to impact on E2E supply chain. There will be special focus on:

    • SLOBs - monthly inventory reviews for finished goods to drive down inventory of slow moving or obsolete items

    • New Product Introduction or Transitions - work with the cross functional teams to identify the inventory risks and action plan to implement mitigation plans. Work with BU and PLCM manager to set lowest financial risk plans for transition items. Key point of contact for Supply Chain to coordinate launch efforts.

    • Discontinuation support - work with the inventory manager to generate depletion plans for discontinued items which are at the end-of-life sku management for all items exiting the portfolio

    • Customer inventory - work with customer service & forecasting to gather data on customer inventory levels for both transitions and discontinuations to forecast potential non-working trade impacts for elevation and decision making.

    • Cost improvement - Provide data for BU to inform Design to Value sessions and participate and collaborate to idea generate to CIP program for cost savings.

    • Collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders inside and outside of the team for the BU or LOB. Key relationship NPD/NPI, Supply Chain, Customer Service, Marketing, Commercial, Project Management Organization.

    • Generally, support the PLCM on data analysis and insights needed for BU to improve the business SC metrics and goals.

    Technical Skills

    • Technical product development process awareness & understanding

    • Critical thinking capability and proficiency and prioritization skills

    • Ability to identify opportunities for cost savings

    • Capable to analyze date and generate insights from the data provided for action or consideration

    • SAP/ERP understanding and/or experience

    • Beginner level understanding of how decisions or recommendations could impact the P&L

    • New product development process understands and able to identify when risks will cause issue to financial plans for elevation in EBP.

    • Recognize opportunity to automate tasks or processes to improve speed of insights generation and step change how we work.

    Required Education & Experience

    • Bachelors degree in technical field (Engineering, Chemistry, Finance), Business management, Supply chain, or related fields

    • Analytical skills, transforming data, and interacting with cross functional teams.

    • Experience in using Power BI reports and understanding of data science principles and capability

    • Proficiency in Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook and Microsoft office suite of tools

    • Ready to work in virtual teams, Goal-oriented, data & reporting, collaboration, and good communication will complete the profile.

    Work Environment

    • Shelton/Milford, CT or Dover, DE Office-based, other locations may be considered.

    • Travel may be required: 10-20%.

    • A cross-functional team with a lot of creativity and challenges to face.

    The salary range for this position is $72,000 - $108,000. The actual base salary offered to a candidate may vary based upon factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance.
