  • Our client is seeking a Sr. Pipe Stress Engineer to join their team. As a Sr. Pipe Stress Engineer, you will be responsible for performing pipe stress analysis as well as modeling piping systems to verify flexibility and stability. The ideal candidate will have ability to work independently & as part of cross-functional teams, able to work under minimal supervision and exhibit a high attention to detail which will align successfully in the organization.

    Job Title: Sr. Pipe Stress Engineer

    Location: Richland, WA

    Pay Rate: Up to $75/hour w2 (Will be dependent on experience level)

    Key Responsibilities

    • Essential duties include performing pipe stress analysis of systems in accordance with ASME B31.3 Code.

    • The stress work includes the modeling of the piping systems to verify piping flexibility, stability and qualification of equipment nozzle loads.

    • Work closely with layout personnel and pipe support engineers to deliver a quality and cost-effective design.

    Requirements

    • Good knowledge of ASME B31.3 and other relevant industry piping codes and standards

    • Prior experience using pipe stress analysis programs

    • BS degree with 9 years of related experience
