    We're looking for a Senior Operator, Global Operations Center to join our Global Security team!

    What you'll do:

    • Ensure the protection of Snap employees, guests, and assets through consistent monitoring of the company's Access Control Systems, CCTV monitoring and review, Incident Management Systems and Dispatch Control Room operation

    • Provide mentorship, direction and training to the other members of the Global Operations Center and GSO team abroad

    • Actively supervise and evaluate global developments which pose a threat to Snap Inc. or any of its various assets and effectively communicate situational updates

    • Serve as the first point of contact for multiple events simultaneously while maintaining a high level of courteousness and integrity

    • Distribute periodic incident driven security notifications, verbal/written

    • Support analytical product production to support travel and risk programs

    • Abide by Snap policies and procedures and document noncompliance as necessary

    • Forge effective relationships with colleagues to achieve goals

    • Other ad hoc duties or special projects as assigned by Global Security management

    Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

    • Excellent written and verbal communication with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of an organization

    • Experience working in the security, medical, emergency services, law enforcement, military, or customer service industry is helpful

    • Must be detail oriented and possess strong problem solving and interpersonal skills

    • Prior experience balancing multiple tasks or projects simultaneously, incident response, Crisis Management, Incident Management, Emergency Response

    • Familiarity with security related technology, services, and databases

    • Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to evaluate the quality and reliability of disparate information sources

    Minimum Qualifications

    • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent or equivalent years of experience

    • 2+ years of experience as of dispatch, or call center experience; experience gathering and analyzing data through computer systems

    • Current CPR and Basic First Aid certification

    • Current California Guard Card

    • Ability stay on your feet for extended periods to time for Incident Management or support to Campus Security Operations

    • Ability to lift up to 20.5 lbs. to support emergency response or relocation

    • Computer proficient; Google Office Suite, typing WPM 40Preferred Qualifications:

    • Associates Degree or above

    • The flexibility to work any assigned shift and to attend meetings and training sessions

    • 2+ years supervising a team

    • 1+ years working with Lenel, CCTV monitoring, incident management technology

    Compensation

    In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate's starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These pay zones may be modified in the future.

    Zone A (CA, WA, NYC) (~~~) :

    The base salary range for this position is $64,000-$96,000 annually.

    Zone B (~~~) :

    The base salary range for this position is $61,000-$91,000 annually.

    Zone C (~~~) :

    The base salary range for this position is $54,000-$82,000 annually.

    This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.
