    Job Description:

    About the Role :

    The primary role of the Sr. Master Scheduler is to oversee master scheduling and lead finite schedulers for assigned categories.  

    • Maintains long term people, capacity plans and production schedules to ensure the efficient delivery of inventory, service, and cost objectives.

    • Generate weekly/monthly production and capacity plans using systems and processes that support the organization's goals .

    • Maintain data integrity in systems to facilitate efficient inventory and capacity management, customer service, and operational metrics.

    • Lead Supply Review monthly category level SIOP/IBP process.

    • Utilize systems to proactively identify and communicate key drivers and proposed solutions to service and inventory issues.

    • Track and reconcile weekly/monthly metrics versus established targets. Review production performance and update planning rates to accurately reflect plant capabilities and available capacity.

    • Maintain, review, and update all monthly inputs used to calculate safety stocks and inventory targets.

    • Work cross-functionally with Sales, Business Units, Supply Chain, Customer Service, and Operations to ensure cross-functional alignment and meet company objectives.

    • Make recommendations to enhance business processes and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiencies.

    • Support Annual Operating Plan process for designated categories.

    Important D etails: This is a full-time permanent position located at our Oak Brook, IL corporate office, or our Branford, ON manufacturing facility.

    About You :

    You'll fit right in if you have:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Statistics, Operations Research, or related field preferred. 

    • 3+ years of relevant experience in production planning or detailed scheduling required.

    • Experience in leading others preferred.

    • Experience with supply planning software; working knowledge of SAP preferred.

    • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills required. Advanced preferred.

    • Intermediate PowerBI skillset preferred.

    • Strong analytical skills and the ability to clearly communicate verbally and in written form.

    • APICS or CPIM certification a plus.

    • Working knowledge of SIOP/IBP processes and procedures.
