    YOUR ROLE

    The Quality and Hygiene Senior Manager position is responsible for all aspects of Quality and Hygiene for the Bowling Green Plant. The QH manager is the leader and point of contact for internal audits and external 3rd party regulatory and customer audits. This role has responsibility for all quality and hygiene, including the QC laboratory. The role oversees development of staff to ensure each individual contributes to their full potential.

    • Creates and implements site short-term and long-term plans for Quality and Hygiene Systems.

    • Acts as site lead and Subject Matter Expert in Quality and in implementing Quality and Zero Defect thinking in large scale company environments.

    • Primary site contact for external customer quality audits, including action plan creation and execution based upon findings.

    • Leads strategic initiatives locally to improve and develop capabilities within the Quality organization.

    • Leads implementation of integrated management system ISO certification

    • Provide support, assistance, and advice to the regional Quality teams by providing individual expert Quality knowledge and by leveraging and connecting to the global Quality network.

    • Design, develop and improve facility standards, Quality methods, practices, tools.

    • Ensure proper change management and qualification for all innovation and change projects within the site

    • Support strategic initiatives through design, implementation and final effectiveness check.

    • Support definition, design and implementation of required extensions, enhancements, and maintenance of IT/ digital tools relevant for HCB Quality specific needs.

    • Develop and lead site internal audit program to drive continuous improvement

    YOUR SKILLS

    • We explicitly encourage applications of non-standard profiles with experience/exposure in Quality-relevant fields, including Hygiene, 10+ years of work experience

    • Project Management, Presentation & Training, Data literacy, data analysis

    • Problem solving, Root-cause-analysis, logical thinking Lean, continuous improvement methods

    • Statistical methods SQC, SPC, MSA SAP data structure, Quality BI, ADAP Quality control, test methods, quality lab management, equipment

    • Solving conflicts, Agility, Enthusiasm and creativity

    • Interpersonal communication in various media and to various levels of internal and external organization

    • Bachelor's degree in related Field

    • 10+ years professional experience is required, including site manager of Quality, Hygiene or both.

    • Working knowledge of Quality fundamentals, principles and core tools

    • Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement through use of applicable tools and theories such as process mapping

    • Excellent interpersonal skills, written, verbal and presentation communication skills

    • Quality certifications preferred.

    The salary for this role is $120,000.00 - $160,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
