  • The Facilities Ground Logistics Project Control Manager is a key member of the Facilities Solutions Group (FSG) Operations team responsible for all Project Control related policies, processes, procedures, staffing, training, and mentoring. This individual will be responsible for the project controls discipline across their assigned FSG companies. This individual will be responsible for identifying gaps in project control support or knowledge and then working with operations to train existing staff or recruit and hire experienced project control support where needed.

    Responsibilities

    • Serves as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in all aspects of Project Control to include:

    • Costpoint project setup and reporting.

    • Revenue recognition rules and regulations.

    • Month-End close.

    • Customer invoicing.

    • Cost and schedule variance analysis.

    • EAC development / EAC Reviews.

    • Forecasting development / Forecasting Reviews.

    • Unbilled analysis.

    • High risk/visibility program reviews.

    • Provides direct project control support to projects where needed to help fill gaps.

    • Works with Shared Services and Operations to provides support for new project transitions/phase-ins as needed.

    • Regularly interfaces with and provide support/mentoring to the operating company Project Management and Project Controls POCs as needed.

    • The ability to communicate with the Project Management and Controls communities via Project Control forums, intranet postings and potentially conduct classroom lunch bunch and PM Excellence training sessions.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in accounting or Business-related field.

    • Minimum 8+ years' experience working for a Federal Government Contractor.

    • Solid understanding of all contract types, FAR regulations, government compliance.

    • Strong personnel management experience and communication skills.

    • Process improvement.

    • Ability to present to Senior Leadership.

    • Proficiency with Deltek CostPoint Project Module.

    • Deltek Time and Expense.

    • Cognos experience preferred.

    • MS Excel Proficiency (Vlookup / SUMIF formulas, pivot tables, etc.).

    • Strong skills in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project.

    • Experience using and configuring MS SharePoint team sites.

    $122,268.73 - $208,254.67
