  • Job Summary: The Senior Manager, MAP Pricing Policy will be responsible for monitoring and enforcing the company's MAP policies. This role will ensure that all resellers adhere to the MAP guidelines, maintaining the brand's pricing integrity across various sales channels. The role will use a combination of monitoring tools, data analysis, and communication to identify violations and take appropriate corrective actions.

    Responsibilities: To ensure compliance and consistent administration of the MAP policy, the Senior Manager, MAP Pricing Policy will lead a team working to encompass 6 key responsibilities.

    • Monitoring and Surveillance:

    o Utilize automated MAP monitoring tools and software to track advertised prices across various platforms, including online marketplaces, retail websites, and print advertisements.

    o Conduct regular audits of reseller promoted pricing to ensure compliance with MAP policies.

    o Maintain and update a database of reseller promoted pricing information and violations.

    • Analysis and Reporting:

    o Analyze promoted pricing data to identify trends, patterns, and potential areas of concern.

    o Prepare and present regular reports on MAP compliance status, including detailed summaries of violations and reseller actions after non-compliance communication.

    o Provide insights and recommendations based on promoted pricing analysis to support strategic decision-making.

    • Uniform Application:

    o Apply the MAP Policy fairly and consistently across all resellers to avoid creating the perception that the policy is not being uniformly enforced.

    • Compliance and Enforcement:

    o Communicate with resellers (as well as internal stakeholders) regarding MAP violations, issuing warnings of strike violations and outlining required changes to be compliant.

    o Collaborate with Legal and Sales teams to address persistent violations, including the potential suspension of non-compliant accounts.

    • Education and Training:

    o Provide training materials and sessions for internal teams, Sales teams and retail partners on MAP policies and compliance.

    o After a review with Legal, provide answers or clarification to MAP Policy questions provided by resellers.

    • Process Improvement:

    o Continuously review and improve MAP monitoring processes and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

    o Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and regulatory changes related to MAP enforcement and pricing policies.

    Key Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics or related field.

    • 7+ years of experience in MAP Administration, preferably in a consumer goods industry.

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; must be able to present data in an organized manner to different levels of the organization

    • Ability to work in and lead collaborative cross-functional teams.

    • History of translating best practices into repeatable frameworks, processes and ways of working.

    • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

    • Proven ability to build relationships and navigate a matrixed organization.

    • Proficient conflict management/composure skills.
