    GENERAL FUNCTION

    The Senior Manager of Field Eyecare manages doctor-related activities within a geographic area. This position ensures comprehensive coverage by recruiting Optometrists for various store types, articulating Target Optical and Pearle Vision value propositions, and executing eyecare initiatives. to enhance patient experiences. Responsible for increasing patient access, driving business growth, and fostering brand loyalty.

    MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Collaborate with ODs, RMs, Optometric Schools, and attend industry events

    • Develop and maintain a network of diverse industry contacts.

    • Optimize coverage, ensuring there are no stores without a doctor, and no dark days that require coverage to serve needs of patients

    • Coach and influence RMs & ODs to ensure eyecare availability meets patient demand to deliver a great eyecare experience, maintain a high OD NPS, and grow exams

    • Accountable for buiding a database of OD contacts within CRM system, create OD talent pipeline, and assist with OD career planning

    • Maintain understanding of innovative recruitment tools, technologies and best practices.

    • Drive patient access and business results by understanding optometry skills, TAB, Digital Suite, and state licensing expertise to hire ODs for various locations through different business models.

    • Responsible for ensuring that all Doctor onboarding activities have been completed in alignment with brand standards

    • Maintain knowledge of state regulatory requirements for optometric practice. Stay abreast of any pending rule changes or legislation, and partner with Luxottica Retail's legal and regulatory services department accordingly

    • Ensure that all stores/doctors are in compliance with company, HIPAA, PIPEDA, and other privacy policies

    • Keep track of upcoming lease renewals, ensure timely completion and submission of all necessary forms/documents related to changes in lease terms

    • Ensure sublease doctors are aware of MVC plans in their area and encourage participation

    • Mine news and key websites for Optometric intelligence.

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

    • BA/BS in business, health care or related field

    • 8+ years of multi-unit responsibility for physician/optometric practice management, franchising, or similar experience

    • Strong influencing and negotiating skills

    • Strong communicator and listener

    • Problem solving ability

    • 50%-75% travel

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • OD degree; licensed to practice optometry in state/province where brand does business
