Sr. Internal Auditor

Description

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Sr. Internal Auditor in Dallas, Texas. This role requires the expertise to manage auditing plans, conduct audits, and handle accounting functions. As a Sr. Internal Auditor, you will be expected to ensure the operational controls of business systems and monitor user controls.

Responsibilities

• Employ accounting software systems to process and maintain accurate records

• Develop and implement audit programs to ensure compliance with company policies

• Conduct audits on various business systems to identify risks and inefficiencies

• Utilize Workday ERP and Excel formulas for auditing and accounting tasks

• Prepare audit findings and recommend improvements to enhance the efficiency of operations

• Manage audit requests and ensure timely completion

• Regularly monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions based on audit findings

• Ensure operational controls are effective and suggest enhancements whenever necessary

• Manage user controls to secure the company's digital assets

• Handle other auditing and accounting functions as required.

Requirements

• Possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in internal auditing

• Proficient in creating and implementing Audit Programs

• Ability to understand and work with Business Systems

• Skilled in handling Accounting Functions and Audit Findings

• Experience in Auditing and creating Audit Plans

• Familiarity with Operational Audits and handling Audit Requests

• Capable of Conducting Audits effectively

• Knowledge of Operational Controls and User Controls

• Proficiency in Excel Formulas

• Experience with Workday ERP is a plus

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• Professional certification such as CIA, CPA, or CISA is preferred
