    The Sr Infrastructure Engineer will play a key role in global IT operations including the design, implementation, support, maintenance, and documentation of systems. Focus will be on supporting IT operations, systems capacity, high availability, and implementation of best practices while maintaining performance for critical applications. The position will work as part of a team, coordinating closely with the Information Security team and local IT team. Additionally, the Sr. Infrastructure Engineer will serve as a technical advisor for other projects and infrastructures.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    • Manage and monitor environment performance and proactively identify optimization opportunities to enhance efficiency, scalability, reliability, security and cost-effectiveness in alignment with the organization requirements and goals

    • Own and drive Infrastructure standards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Disaster Recovery (DR) documentation, server/storage inventory, software/application license inventory, and server certificates.

    • Design and oversee the administration of the server/storage environment, Windows domain infrastructure, virtualization, DR Test/Preparedness, and server OS & application security patching.

    • Design and oversee the management of Active Directory, Group Policies, Cloud security, DNS and DHCP, Distributed File Shares, Exchange Online/Office365, SQL Servers, and SANs.

    • Maintain knowledge of current security best practices and tools for a highly secure and available production environment.

    • Validate overall infrastructure health, performance, availability, security, redundancy, and business continuity.

    • Develop solutions to automate and improve operational reliability and efficiency

    • Serve as a technical expert, driving change to adopt new standards, maintaining reliability and improving performance metrics

    • Provides Tier 3 support for the Enterprise IT infrastructure

    • Participate in change management process including development of change management plan for production upgrades.

    • 8+ years of experience providing support, configuration, monitoring and troubleshooting for a medium to large enterprise IT environment

    • Must have a strong understanding of Enterprise infrastructures, security best practices, and have excellent troubleshooting skills.

    • Proven experience with Microsoft Server Operating Systems, Microsoft Active Directory architecture, and Virtualization

    • Proven experience with Storage Area Networks and backup technologies

    • Strong research, technical writing, and documentation skills

    • Excellent interpersonal, communication skills

    • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without Company sponsorship now and in the future.

    Ideal Qualifications:

    • Experience designing and architecting domain consolidation projects

    • Experience supporting application/data teams with project and support activities

    • Experience in cloud architecture, migrating from on-premises to the cloud

    • Expert in Microsoft Windows Server environment including Azure, Active Directory Group policies, Active Directory Domain Services, Active Directory Federated Services, Server Certificates, DHCP, and DNS.

    • Expert in Storage Area Networks, FCP, iSCSI, FCoE,

    • Microsoft MCSE or equivalent experience
