We invite our guests to immerse themselves in a redesigned Wine Country experience in a delightfully vino-cultured manner: two luxury hotels with decidedly different personalities – the vibrant Hotel Villagio and its sophisticated counterpart, Vintage House, a chic and tranquil sanctuary. A combined room-count of nearly 200 rooms and suites allows us to create a memorable experience for any occasion!

    The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader, capable of managing all HR functions to support the hotel’s commitment to excellence in service and hospitality. This role requires a deep understanding of luxury hospitality standards, a passion for people, and the ability to foster a positive and productive work environment.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Act as the primary point of contact for employee relations, promoting a positive work environment through effective communication, conflict resolution, and adherence to company policies and procedures.

    • Design and implement training programs that enhance employee skills, service excellence, and compliance with luxury brand standards.

    • Oversee the performance management process, including goal setting, regular feedback, performance appraisals, and addressing performance issues in a fair and consistent manner.

    • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal labor laws, as well as hotel policies and procedures.

    • Collaborate with hotel leadership to develop workforce plans that align with business goals and operational needs, including staffing levels, labor costs, and employee scheduling.

    • Oversee employee health and safety programs, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment in compliance with OSHA and hotel safety standards.

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor’s degree required.

    • Bilingual in English & Spanish required.

    • 5+ years of HR management experience, preferably within the luxury hospitality industry.

    • Strong knowledge of HR principles, labor laws, and best practices.

    • Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.

    • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills.

    • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

    • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or other HR certification is a plus.
