    This position contributes to Starbucks success by assisting in achieving the company's goals by providing financial leadership. This includes planning, forecasting, analysis, reporting on KPIs, as well as analytical and strategic support for new growth initiatives - all while building effective relationships and influencing decision making across the team.

    As a senior financial analyst, you will...

    • Own key forecasting, consolidation and performance management processes for the full Canada P&L, including monthly tracking/reporting/variance analysis, quarterly forecasting, and annual planning.

    • Build monthly and quarterly business review presentations with clear storytelling on business performance, trends, opportunities and risks.

    • Support cross-functional units with finance business partnership to evaluate strategic initiatives and present data-driven insights to senior leadership.

    • Assist in annual Strategic Planning processes to provide analytical support for longer-term business strategies and capital investment prioritization.

    • Drive continuous improvement in existing forecasting and reporting processes, financial models, and presentations.

    • Continue to build and maintain relationships with U.S. counterparts, leveraging best practices to enhance our Canadian business.

    Qualifications

    We'd love to hear from people with:

    • Bachelor's Degree (business, finance, engineering, or product & marketing specialization preferred).

    • 2-5 years of experience in a finance business partnership role.

    • Excellent analytical, reporting, storytelling, business case development and financial modeling skills.

    • Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

    • Strong collaboration and communication skills.

    • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.

    • Experience with Anaplan and/or Hyperion Essbase, and data visualization tools such as Power BI and Tableau considered an asset.
