Nestlé Purina has a proud presence in this mile-high city, having been in operation since 1930. Its first 42 years in operation were primarily to produce livestock feed until the plant transitioned into a pet food-only manufacturer in 1972. Since then, the location became the first-ever pet food factory to utilize solar energy. To date, we're proud to sustainably produce 260,134 tons annually of Dog Chow®, Cat Chow®, Kit n Kaboodle®, Alpo®, Beneful®, Nestlé Purina ONE Beyond®, Nestlé Purina ONE® and Pro Plan®.

    As the Senior Coordinator Inventory Control, you are responsible for maintaining the computer operations that control the automated storage and retrieval system (ASRS) to ensure proper inventory input and output. You collaborate with team leaders, warehouse administration, production personnel, operations planning, quality assurance and other 'mole' operators to achieve maximum factory efficiency through continuous improvement. You are an expert in warehouse control systems and possess a process mindset with an ability to identify, analyze and troubleshoot issues within the inbound and outbound flow of products.

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Monitor the operation of the automatic storage and retrieval system within the warehouses

    • Maintain established protocol to achieve maximum efficiency and utilization of the storage racks

    • Respond to and correct any problems within the automated storage and retrieval system (ASRS), i.e., pallet jams, pallet tracking errors, elevator time-outs, etc.

    • Monitor lane storage details to ensure that products are not mixed within lanes and that first in, first out (FIFO) is followed

    • Generate all necessary ASRS reports (daily shipment log, inventory relocation, unanticipated shortage, etc.)

    • Maintain a high level of sanitation within the ASRS and the warehouses it serves

    MUST BE WILLING TO WORK A 2ND SHIFT SCHEDULE

    Basic Qualifications:

    Education

    • High School Diploma or GED equivalent

    Experience (Years/Type):

    • 1+ years' experience working in a manufacturing, warehouse, production, operations or related environment

    Preferred

    • Advanced computer skills in warehouse control systems (ASRS, Redzone, iFix and/or SAP)

    This position has an approximate salary of $49, 691 - $63,407. Please note that the salary provided is a good faith estimate for the position. The final salary offer will be determined after reviewing relevant factors, which include a candidate's qualifications and experience, where appropriate.
