    The Senior Cloud Financial Analyst role is responsible for supporting the management of the cloud portfolio while optimizing the value, cost, and financial management of our cloud providers. The Senior Cloud Financial Analyst primary focus will be ensuring efficient cloud resource utilization, cost tracking, and identifying opportunities for cost savings within our cloud infrastructure. A successful Sr. Cloud Financial Analyst will be naturally curious, can balance digging into data to solve a problem while looking at the big picture and promote a culture of cost accountability and awareness around cloud consumption.

    • Sr. Cloud financial analyst reviews and analyzes data to provide financial and operational insights critical to cloud financial management

    • Develop and provide financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting across multiple platforms (i.e. Azure, AWS, Google, OCI)

    • Provide guidance to junior team members

    • Create new and optimize existing business processes to ensure objectives are met efficiently and effectively

    • Leverages large datasets such as financial, usage, tag metadata to tell a story and drive action

    • Work with various stakeholders to help them understand their cloud spend and optimize it based on their unique architecture and desired business outcomes

    • Ensure the integrity and accuracy of cloud financial reporting.

    • Work with staff analyst to prepare and present consumption analysis including KPI's and charge backs

    • Present Bill of IT to various leaders across the organization

    • Monitors and manages IT expenditure, ensuring that all IT financial targets are met, and examining any areas where budgets and expenditure exceed their agreed tolerances

    • Investigate cost anomalies and discrepancies to identify root causes and implement corrective actions

    • Develop dashboards and reports to analyze, monitor, and report on the organization's consumption of Cloud and related services

    • Implement tagging and cost allocation methodologies to supervise spending and allocate costs accurately

    • Design and implement automated processes for cost reporting, budgeting, and forecasting

    • Stay updated on cloud pricing models, cost management tools, and standard methodologies in FinOps

    • All other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree required. Preferred in Accounting, Finance, or related degree. Applicable years of experience maybe substituted for degree requirement.

    • 8 or more years of relevant experience, specifically with financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting processes, and familiarity with financial governance frameworks strongly preferred.

    • 3 years' experience in Cloud Analyst role strongly preferred

    • Ability to see 'big picture" strategic view as well as process details.

    • Self-starter, able to come up with solutions to problems and complete those solutions while coordinating with other teams

    • Ability to work with various systems and data sources to gather and assimilate required information.

    • Able to communicate with technical and non-technical audiences at all levels of the organization

    • Able to prioritize and execute tasks

    • Work experience with the Azure cloud platform is preferred.

    • PowerBI experience preferred
