Sr. Accountant

My client is a highly prestigious, well established Non for Profit located in the heart of NYC.

The VP of Accounting is looking for an exceptional senior accountant for their team.

This is a very well tenured company and team, very little staff turnover, a great place if you are looking to stay somewhere for 5, 10+ years.

They are in the office 5 days a week in NYC.

As always, these are permanent, full time, fully benefited salaried positions (these are NOT temp, or temp to perm).

Compensation is based on experience

The range is between $90k - $105k base

What you will do

• Working on the Month End Close and Financial Statements

• Work within the general ledger

• Handling reconciliations, journal entries

• Analyze items on the balance sheet

• Handle some AP/AR, check processing

• Sage 50 is a big +

• A minimum of a BA/BS in Accounting from a top accredited school

• 5+ years of experience.

Exceptional communications skills are required. A great dynamic personality and the ability to work along your fellow colleagues is crucial.
