Sr. Accountant

Description Our client in the western suburbs is looking for an Accounting Leader that can be in charge of the financials of a small manufacturing plant. Integration of acquisitions is good to have. Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or related field

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Excel

• Strong knowledge in 'Month End Close'

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

• Knowledge of accounting software and databases

• Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to the manufacturing industry

• detail oriented certification (e.g. CPA) is a plus.
