Robert Half is currently seeking a Sr. Accountant to join our team in the Bloomfield, Connecticut area. This is a long-term contract opportunity majoring in the accounting sector. The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in managing all aspects of financial reporting and analysis, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial data.
Oversee accurate processing of journal entries as part of month-end close.
Conduct thorough financial analysis on an ad hoc basis to facilitate decision-making processes.
Ensure the accuracy and completeness of audited financial statements.
Manage the accruals process to ensure financial statements reflect the company's financial condition accurately.
Take charge of all aspects of month-end reporting, ensuring accuracy and punctuality.
Act as a key point of contact for financial inquiries and resolve them effectively.
Requirements - Proficient in Accruals, able to manage and adjust financial records as necessary.
Experience in Ad Hoc Financial Analysis, capable of providing spontaneous evaluation of financial data when required.
Skilled in Month End Close procedures, ensuring all financial activities are accurately recorded and reported.
Familiar with Audited Financial Statements, capable of reviewing and validating them for accuracy and compliance.
