Speech Pathologist (PRN)

• Inpatient Rehab

• PRN: Hours vary - 8am to 4:30pm

• Two (2) days on the Weekend required, per month

The incumbent provides comprehensive evaluation and treatment to pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients, depending on service area. The therapist meets productivity standards and satisfactorily completes and maintains all required documentation.

The therapist maintains a "Patient First" orientation and meets AMC customer service standards. The incumbent serves as a flexible member of both disciplinary and interdisciplinary teams, including assisting others as needed and contributing to the overall effectiveness of the department.

Education: Must be a graduate of an accredited Speech Pathology Program.

Licensure:

• Current license in State of Ohio to practice speech pathology.

• Maintain CEUs for licensure renewal.

Certification:

• Current BLS certification

• Prefer a certificate of clinical competence awarded by ASHA

Experience:

• May be a recent graduate with a generalist background.

• Prefer a minimum of one-year experience.

Skills/Other:

• Demonstrates knowledge base and skill in providing age specific care.

• Possesses team-focused attributes.

• Works scheduled hours as assigned.
