Axient is seeking a Space Operations Support Analyst in Colorado Springs.

What you will do...

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting the Government in Long-term operations Mission Planning

• Providing satellite operations support for mission readiness reviews and mission rehearsals

• Assisting the government in the organization and facilitation of anomaly resolution teams

• Organizing and facilitating unit-level Operational Review Boards.

• Coordinating operations requirements with USSPACECOM's National Space Defense Center, Space Operations Center, and other external mission partners

Skills you will need...

Experience and Skills

• Must have a DoD TS/SCI clearance

• BS in related field +8yrs supporting satellite operationsDesired: MS preferably in related field

• 8 years space operations experience, including 5 years of satellite operations/C2

• Proficiency preparing for/evaluating effectiveness of planned operational events

• Highly proficient in briefing Senior-level DoD

• Highly proficient in Microsoft Software Suite (MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

• Proficient in modeling software (System/Satellite Toolkit (STK), FreeFlyer, etc.)

• Desired: Previous Orbital Analyst

• Desired: Previous Special Access Program (SAP) experience. Must be SAP eligible
