  • Project and Platform Planning

    • Work closely with the client to understand their business strategy and challenges and construct relevant ECM solutions.

    • Provide opportunity pursuit support services starting at awareness generation stage all the way through to proposal and closing of the sale.

    • Work closely with business partners and Fujitsu delivery managers to assist in the development of platform strategies, Investment Justifications, Business Cases, PO's.

    • Responsible for describing the solution, defining the approach and estimating the work effort to implement the solution. In some cases, may be responsible for oversight of portions of the implementation within a client engagement.

    Project Delivery

    • Provide thought leadership and project advisory services to key clients on a billable basis.

    • Design and provide direction on business solution architectures and their delivery approach.

    • Provide quality assurance services on delivery projects to ensure that the quality of delivered solutions reflects what was proposed.

    • Develop strategic technical plans and technical application roadmaps.

    • Mentor and coach other Fujitsu staff to ensure consistent delivery of quality solutions.

    • Ensure that intellectual assets created during the delivery process are captured and evolved in the knowledge base in a manner that is reusable and relevant, including:

    • Delivery and process models

    • Estimating and cost models

    • Standard Design Patterns

    • Effective resource allocation to projects.

    Mandatory Experience

    • Post-secondary degree in a related discipline or equivalent work experience.

    • 5 Plus years of Solution Architecture experience on Information Technology projects. 10 plus years of total experience on IT projects.

    • Working in a Consulting environment.

    • Experience in performing complex analysis, consulting, and providing recommendations.

    • Experience with projects involving integration of disparate types of technologies and platforms.

    • Facilitation experience.

    • A proven track record for the timely delivery of high-quality project deliverables.

    • Understands the Utility sector and Crown corporation work style, culture, and expectations.

    • Understands and is able to apply structured solution development life cycle principles, concepts, and techniques on projects.

    • Excellent communication (verbal, written and presentation) skills with strength in describing technical issues to both technical and business audiences.

    • Strong ability to assist projects in overcoming technical issues/problems which are impeding progress.

    • Excellent analytical ability, and able to effectively multi-task, working across several project teams simultaneously.

    Desirable Experience/Skills:

    • AI & Machine Learning

    • Big Data

    • Microservices & Containerization

    • Cloud Architecture

    • Knowledge of TOGAF

    • Understanding of SOA

    • Experience with Enterprise Content Management Platforms and Solutions

    • Experience with Records Management Programs and Software

    • Experience working in an Engineering environment with technical business users

    • Experience working with junior technical resources that do understand business needs

    • Experience with design patterns and UML modeling

    • Experience in the Utilities Sector.

    • Experience in Cloud solution and related offering

The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each situation. The pay range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to: specific skills, qualifications, experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. The pay range for this position is estimated at $ 102,900 to $148,600 CAD. Additionally, this role may be eligible for a short-term incentive based on company results and individual performance.
