  • DESCRIPTION

    Duties: Plan, architect, analyze, code, test, debug, document, and maintain existing code base and enhance the product with new functionalities. Adhere to architecture standards, perform code reviews, and present application design review, strategic technology directions, and best practice development. Write high-quality Java code and related documentation, perform unit testing and adhere to JPMC software development process. Utilize Agile development methodology, write web services, and use SQL. Help manage and maintain private cloud implementations using tools provided by the firm. Administer deployment of software solutions to the firm's private and public cloud solutions. Set up infrastructure and administer applications in the private and public cloud space. Telecommuting permitted up to 40% of the week.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or related field of study plus 1 years of experience in the job offered or as a Software Engineer, Software Developer, DevOps Engineer, Associate (IT), or related occupation.
