Software Engineer

Job Description

In this role, the Software Engineer will produce high-quality real-time software with the ability to understand requirements, establish a modular architecture/design, and implement sound solutions leveraging existing software. The candidate must also be proficient in writing unit tests, preferably following the Test-Driven Development methodology.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality real-time software by understanding requirements.

• Establish a modular architecture/design and implement sound solutions.

• Leverage existing software for new solutions.

• Write unit tests, preferably following the Test-Driven Development methodology.

• Support integration and other sustainment activities.

Essential Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering or equivalent engineering/technical degree.

• 5+ years of professional experience with object-oriented programming with C/C++/C#.

• Experience working in a Linux/Unix environment.

• 5+ years of professional experience with Agile Principles, CI/CD Methodologies, and Agile configuration management tools (Git, JIRA, Confluence).

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with unit testing frameworks (e.g., Google Test) and Static/Dynamic Code Analysis tools.

• Experience working in a Linux/Unix environment with skills in common scripting languages (e.g., bash, Python).

• Experience with GPU-based architectures and languages (e.g., CUDA).

• Experience with code optimization for real-time systems.

• Experience with Software Modeling (UML) and architecture.

Work Environment

Work will be performed at our facilities in Moorestown, NJ. The position follows a 4/10 work schedule with every Friday off.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $75.00
