Social Media Manager, Paramount+

Overview:

Our team at Paramount+ is seeking a Social Media Manager to craft and execute social strategies that drive audience engagement and community management for the Paramount+ brand. This role is key to leading day-to-day planning, creative ideation, and collaborating with internal and external creative partners across our extensive portfolio of Paramount brands.

The ideal candidate has experience handling direct reports and/or agency relationships, crafting creative briefs, and building partnerships within complex organizations. They should also have a shown understanding of engaging specialized audiences and encouraging vibrant digital communities.

Responsibilities:

• Craft and refine social media strategies for the Paramount+ social handles across platforms, including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X, and more

• Build and grow social followings through daily community management - actively engaging and responding to followers

• Collaborate with Paramount+ teams across video, design, marketing, and PR to develop innovative social creative

• Contribute to the ideation, development, execution, and analysis of Paramount+ social content and digital marketing activations

• Lead community management across social channels

• Study competitor strategies, industry trends, and new product features

• Collaborate with our Social Analytics team to track and analyze the performance and results of campaigns

Basic Qualifications:

• 3+ years experience in running brand social accounts, preferably in entertainment

Additional Qualifications:

• Proven understanding of standard practices and innovative tactics across social platforms

• Detailed and a stickler for grammar

• Able to see the broader picture of social as it relates to the streaming landscape

• Knowledgeable about television and pop culture

• Exceptional communication skills and ability to speak to all levels of management

• Ability to mine and leverage social and site data to develop content quickly against social trends

• Willing to work evenings and/or weekends, as needed

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Hiring Salary Range: $56,000.00 - 80,000.00.

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
