Site Supervisor

Primary Location: Lexington, MA

Shift: Mon-Fri 6am-2pm

Rate: $23/hour

Securitas Security Services is seeking a diligent and experienced Security Site Supervisor to oversee and manage the daily security operations at our Lexington, MA facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the premises, personnel, and assets while leading a team of security officers. The Security Site Supervisor will act as the first point of contact for any security-related matters and will report directly to the Security Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage the security staff, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.

• Monitor and inspect all security systems (CCTV, access control, alarms) to ensure operational effectiveness.

• Conduct regular security patrols of the site, checking for security breaches, safety hazards, or maintenance issues.

• Respond promptly and appropriately to any emergency or security incidents, including medical emergencies, fires, or breaches of security.

• Oversee and coordinate the daily schedules of security personnel, ensuring adequate coverage across all shifts.

• Assist in the training and development of new security staff, ensuring that all employees are well-prepared to execute their duties.

• Provide leadership and guidance in conflict resolution and decision-making in challenging security situations.

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws as well as company policies related to security protocols.

• Maintain accurate records of security incidents, reports, and other related documentation.

• Develop and implement security plans for special events or high-security requirements.

• Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency response teams as needed.

• Perform routine inspections of the facility, ensuring access control measures are enforced, and unauthorized persons are prevented from entering restricted areas.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience (3+ years) in a security management or supervisory role, preferably in a corporate or industrial environment.

• Strong understanding of security systems, including CCTV, access control, alarm systems, and emergency response procedures.

• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to direct and motivate a team effectively.

• Ability to stay calm under pressure and resolve conflicts or emergencies promptly and efficiently.

• Proficient in writing detailed incident reports and security logs.

• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, or related field is a plus).
