As a Senior HVAC Engineer, you will work closely with the onsite HVAC contractor team, Maintenance Engineers, and Mechanical Supervisors to ensure equipment reliability and adherence to regulatory standards. Your contributions will play a crucial role in the organization by optimizing HVAC systems, supporting new projects, and upholding safety and efficiency standards.

As a Site HVAC Coordinator, you create chemistry by...

• Serving as refrigeration coordinator, ensuring compliance with BASF Ozone Depleting Substances (ODS) guidelines and the Refrigerant Management Plan while collaborating closely with site EHS for reporting.

• Managing the execution and optimization of refrigeration services, including workload forecasting, manpower projections, and ensuring the timely completion of work orders.

• Building and monitoring Preventative Maintenance programs for refrigeration units and HVAC systems, while supporting engineers and supervisors in optimization and troubleshooting efforts.

• Providing expertise in the specification, design, procurement, and execution of new refrigeration equipment and projects.

• Overseeing HVAC contractor performance to ensure compliance with BASF safety standards, addressing issues, and managing crew size for efficient maintenance

• Developing and maintaining long-term replacement strategies, assisting with HVAC capital projects, and providing construction engineering and manufacturing support for various projects.

If you...

• Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years of experience in the industrial HVAC field or High School Diploma with 10+ years of experience in the industrial HVAC field.

• Possess extensive knowledge of HVAC systems, including design, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

• Have a solid understanding of regulatory standards and compliance related to HVAC and refrigeration systems.

• Demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities and the capability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Exhibit excellent communication skills to interact effectively with contractors, engineers, and other stakeholders.
