Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $18 - $18 / hour*

What you'll be doing as a Shop Mechanic:

• Examine equipment and vehicles to determine the extent and nature of the damages or malfunction

• Utilize your knowledge and skills to repair equipment to company's expectations and safety standards

• Remove, repair, and replace units such as engines, transmissions, or differentials'

• Rebuild parts such as crankshafts and cylinder blocks

• Realign and adjust brakes, frontends, shocks, ect

• Mend damaged body and fenders by hammering, filling, or welding as needed

Available shifts:

Shift Timings - 1st Shift (Day)

Job requirements:

• Work history or vocational training in the auto mechanic field

• Valid Louisiana Driver's License and good driving record

• Ability to reason, determine issues with mechanical equipment and explain required fixes to team members

• Ability to learn computer programs to track work, order parts, keep records, and perform other tasks as needed
