We are looking for a talented Shipping Clerk - 1 st Shift to join our team specializing in Logistics for our Components Business Segment team in Frankfort, KY

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

• Comply with HSE standards, policies, procedures & regulations.

• Receive incoming goods, accurately sort, label/package, store goods and arrange storage to optimize warehouse space.

• Operates manual and automated equipment to pick, pack, and ship products per the customer expectations.

• Works at the required cycle time or defined engineering standard.

• Communicates effectively with the assigned team and with all support teams.

• Remains flexible and performs other miscellaneous duties, as required, to meet business goals.

To be successful in this role you will need the following

• Warehouse Inventory Control - Manages physical inventory utilizing inventory control methodologies to maintain inventory and meet customer expectations.

• Warehouse Operations - Utilizes warehousing tools, systems, and methodologies to meet defined metrics for inbound and outbound operations of a warehouse.

• Ensures accountability - Holding self and others accountable to meet commitments.

• Customer focus - Building strong customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions.

Qualifications

Education, Licenses, Certifications

High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations. A two-year university degree from an accredited program in Business, Engineering or a relevant field of study preferred.

This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience

• Experience preparing pack lists and sheets for loads being shipped.

• Experience maintaining all traffic records and updating the outbound master routing guide.

• Experience in billing.

• Experience with customer interaction and support.

• Experience with forklift and/or fork truck.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Experience and ability to navigate customer portals.

• Experience with computer skills.

• Ability to work without direct supervision.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
