Job Description

We are seeking experienced journeyman sheet metal installers to join our long-term projects throughout the central Ohio area. These full-time positions are with a local mechanical contractor and offer stable, ongoing assignments.

Responsibilities

• Install duct/sheet metal, VAV boxes, and set units on rooftops.

• Read and interpret blueprints.

• Set curbs.

• Cut metal to fit specifications.

Essential Skills

• 4+ years of experience in duct/sheet metal installation at commercial or industrial construction sites.

• Proficiency in reading blueprints.

• OSHA 10 certification.

• Proficiency with basic hand tools and an impact drill.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including hard hat, high visibility vest, and boots (glasses and gloves provided).

Work Environment

Work on commercial job sites throughout Columbus, all on 1st shift. Current projects include OhioHealth in Canal Winchester, Lake Shore in Westerville, and a multi-family new build project in Newark starting in January/February. Shifts run Monday-Friday from 6/7am to 2:30/3:30pm, depending on the day.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Westerville, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00
