Since 1975, Total Air Supply has been a leader in HVAC wholesale and custom metal fabrication for the New England region. Based out of Derry, New Hampshire with branches in Nashua and Manchester, we carry a large selection of equipment for split systems, mini-splits, and light commercial as well as parts, round and square duct work, filters, and general supplies. Our full service custom fabrication shop, located at our Derry facility, is ready to meet any specific needs that our customers require from sheet metal to spiral to welded black iron and stainless steel.

Where Do You Fit In?

We are looking for an Experienced Sheet Metal Fabricator to join our shop and work as a strong team to satisfy our customer's fabrication needs. We're seeking a motivated and hard-working team member with experience bending and punching metal used, preferably performing these functions in the HVAC industry.

In the Sheet Metal Fabricator role, our employees assist in fabricating parts to help fulfill customers order needs in our fast-paced exciting HVAC environment. At times, they also assist Warehouse team members in pulling orders or finding parts or assist at the sales counter to be able to answer a customer question. Hard workers grow rapidly in our environment. If you have HVAC Installation experience, all the better because for you we will pay market rates.

All Sheet Metal Fabricators require good manufacturing and fabrication skills, great communication, and strong safety awareness! You'll also need to have good attention to detail, accuracy & professionalism, a great attendance record, and the ability to get along well with others.

As a Sheet Metal Fabricator you will put your skills to good use by:

• Setting up and operating hand and power tools common to the sheet metal trade.
• Laying out, positioning, aligning, and securing parts and assemblies prior to assembly.
• Operating various sheet metal shears, brake presses, roll former and other sheet metal operations.
• Reading blueprints and metal layout drawings for fitting and fabricating metal products.
• Accurately measuring and using math skills when studying plans and specifications to determine the kind and quantity of materials needed.
• Correctly selecting types of sheet metal or nonmetallic material.
• Properly measuring and marking dimensions and reference lines on metal sheets and drill holes in metal for screws, bolts, and rivets.
• Effectively installing metal sheets with supportive frameworks
• Properly making the required calculations and use tapes and rulers to lay out the work prior to cutting or stamping the parts.
• Before assembling pieces, adequately checking each part for accurate measurements and, if necessary, uses hand rotary or squaring shears and hacksaws to finish pieces. No welding required!
