    The Senior Workflow Analyst is responsible for various activities related to the configuration and maintenance of Facets Workflow and PCA. This may include any or all of the following: requirements development and analysis, configuration coding and audit, collaboration with stakeholders, and team representation in meetings and work sessions. The employee will work with other functional areas / teams to understand and aid in the implementation of requirements, analyze performance, and troubleshoot issues.

    This position is full-time, Monday - Friday. Employees are required to work our normal business hours of 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM local time.

    This will be on-the-job training and the hours during training will be 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM local time from Monday - Friday.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Configure PCA and the Workflow tool in Facets

    • Collaborate with claims department and configuration teams to understand auto adjudication and other claim requirements

    • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, assess, interpret, and document customer needs and requirements

    • Work with local markets and claims team to resolve configuration issues

    • Partner with documentation specialist to assist with job aide / SOP content related to workflow configuration processes

    • Identify and analyze pending claims and provide recommendations to increase auto - adjudication opportunities

    • Research claims issues to determine configuration gaps, update configuration as applicable

    • Consistently meet established productivity, schedule adherence, and quality standards while maintaining expected attendance

    Required Qualifications:

    • High School Diploma / GED

    • Must be 18 years of age OR older

    • 3+ years of experience with configuring Facets Workflow

    • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel

    • Communication skills related to presenting ideas and issues and taking next step actions

    • Experience with coordinating root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement

    • Ability to work any shift between the hours of 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM local time from Monday - Friday

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Business analysis experience, including gathering requirements and providing recommendations

    • Experience with OR Knowledge of Medicare OR health insurance programs

    • Facets Benefit Configuration - not reviewing, but actually configuring

    Telecommuting Requirements:

    • Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)

    • Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy

    • Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service

    • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain a professional working relationship with a wide variety of individuals coming from diverse backgrounds

    • Experience with verbal and written correspondence with all levels of an organization

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
