Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Technical Architect/Specification Writer to join our team as a Casual employee!

In this role you will get to Perform as a Senior Technical Architect/Specification Writer, supporting the design and production documents, coordinating with project team and consultants as well as mentoring younger team members . Your Focus will be on Construction Specification production and coordination.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Supporting design team for medium size projects of moderate complexity.

• Review and analyze project requirements and codes and ensure compliance when needed.

• Interface with internal design team teams.

• Interface with consultants and AHJs (Authorities having Jurisdiction) as needed.

• Drive design team to produce required Specifications needed for construction documents.

• Be a technical resource to younger team members.

• Coordinate and report to your Sr. Manager / Lead Architect.

• Production, coordination and compilation or Specifications and project handbook.

• Undertake and participate in departmental and corporate initiatives and tasks and QC activities

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Degree in Architecture from an accredited US university.

• 15 year of US experience in the field of Architecture.

• High level proficiency in development and coordinating Specifications with various disciplines

• US Citizenship required

• Familiarity with Revit /CAD and BlueBeam for QC and review.

• Team Player with leadership qualities.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Proficiency with various Specifications systems

• CSI Credential

• Ability to analyze codes and standards.

• Revit familiarity and BlueBeam and MS Office proficiency

• Ability to lead small to medium size design teams.

• Ability to work as part of a team in various positions.

• Architect License in California or other States

Salary Range

$40.05 - $81.11
