    As a Senior Software Engineer - Azure Storage Configuration team, you'll have the opportunity to make high impact changes daily.     Responsibilities

    • Lead the design, analysis, development, testing, deployment & operations efforts for multiple enterprise services

    • Drive identification of dependencies across Storage services and the development of design documents for the services/platform

    • Be a champion of driving mature Software engineering standards and practices with the team/wider organization

    • Mentor and guide other engineers internal and external to the team and, acting as a technical leader

    • Proactively seek new knowledge and adapts to new trends, technical solutions, and patterns that will improve the availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, and performance of products while also driving consistency in monitoring and operations at scale.

    Qualifications

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C# OR Java

    • OR equivalent experience.

    • 4+ years of experience in developing with C#, C++, or any equivalent high-level programming language

    • 4+ years of experience working on large-scale Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment systems

    • 4+ years of experience developing large-scale, high availability distributed services

    Other Requirements:

    • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

    Additional/Preferred Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science OR related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C# OR Java

    • OR Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C# OR Java

    • OR equivalent experience.

    Software Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $117,200 - $229,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $153,600 - $250,200 per year.
