    Position Summary

    We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sr. Software Development Engineer professional to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and supporting Java-based applications with a focus on run activities and problem resolution. This role requires a strong understanding of Java programming, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth operation and enhancement of our software solutions.

    Required Qualifications

    • 5+ years of experience in Java application development and support

    • 5+ years of experience in Java SE/EE

    • 3+ years of experience with frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate

    • 3+ years of experience with RESTful and SOAP web services

    • 1+ years of experience with front-end technologies like Angular/React

    • Experience with database technologies such as SQL, Oracle, or PostgreSQL

    • Knowledge of version control systems like Git

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Java certifications such as Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or Oracle Certified Master (OCM)

    • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud

    • Experience with DevOps practices and tools such as Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines

    • Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments

    • Experience with application performance tuning and optimization

    • Knowledge of application security best practices and experience with security tools and frameworks

    Education

    • Bachelor's degree or, equivalent experience (HS diploma + 4 years relevant experience)?

    Pay Range

    The typical pay range for this role is

    $83,430.00 - $166,860.00

    This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
