We are looking for a Senior Public Policy Analyst to join our Government Affairs team, supporting our state and federal public policy advocacy initiatives and contributing to our commitment to sustainability and corporate responsibility.

Location: Burlington, MA - hybrid schedule with 3 days in office and 2 days remote.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Collaborate with our field-based government affairs team to analyze and interpret state and federal legislative developments with a particular focus on issues related to packaging circularity, supply chain resiliency, decarbonization, health & wellbeing, and ingredient management.

• Track relevant policy issues, conduct research, and provide insights to guide advocacy strategies.

• Prepare reports on the potential impact of enacted legislation and help manage the transition from advocacy to implementation and compliance.

• Develop advocacy collateral, including briefing documents, fact sheets, and presentations.

• Represent the company in relevant forums, including in trade associations and coalitions, to promote understanding of our policy positions.

• Work across Corporate Affairs department, engaging with communications, sustainability, and corporate responsibility teams to help ensure alignment and amplification of initiatives.

• Assist in the development and execution of strategies that align public policy advocacy efforts with broader communications and community engagement initiatives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Public Policy, Communications, or a related field

• 3+ years of Government Affairs experience

• Strong understanding of state and federal processes

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to distill complex issues into clear messages
